alps install aryalinux-themes

Hi,

If I remember correctly, this command does not work, but I do not know why anymore(maybe a broken link problem)...

Well, back at home.
Result of the command :
tar: Ceci ne ressemble pas à une archive de type « tar »
xz : (stdin): Format de fichier inconnu
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
Error occured in execution of /var/cache/alps/scripts/aryalinux-themes.sh

Yes. I just checked it out. The download link is broken. I would fix the same.

chandrakant 05-24-2016 11:30 PM

Just uploaded the files. The script should work now

christophe60_fr 05-25-2016 03:27 AM

Ok.
Will try this evening after work.

christophe60_fr 05-25-2016 11:46 AM

No, exactly the same issue.

I think you need to delete the old file that got downloaded:

sudo rm /var/cache/alps/sources/aryalinux-theme.tar.xz

and then retry:

alps install aryalinux-themes

christophe60_fr 05-25-2016 12:34 PM

You're surely right.
But now, it tells me : Impossible d'écrire dans «*aryalinux-theme.tar.xz*» (Aucun espace disponible sur le périphérique).
Error occured in execution of /var/cache/alps/scripts/aryalinux-themes.sh
.
And this, regardless of the package.

Obviously, the / partition is full and the /home is empty !
Well, I leave for now. I admit I'm a bit fed up.
So, thanks for all, chandrakant, I will try again later.

You could try cleaning up the tarballs in the /var/cache/alps/sources directory and then retry. Tarballs are not deleted by default so it ends up eating up space.

I know it can sometimes be very tiring especially when you are building stuff from scratch, but thanks to you for attempting and succeeding as well. :-)

This time it's done.
Everything is installed on real hardware

Question: now, I would like to install additional packages, as xfce4-weather-plugin, hplip (HP printer), Epson driver (scanner), etc. How do I do it?
