While it's a little old and it's for Ubuntu, the following first link should still apply to GNOME in general. Try installing the "gnome-tweak-tool" (if it's not installed already) and then open it, then look for the "Hotcorners" tab. You can disable it there, or if you prefer, I've found a "GNOME shell extension" below that might work for you. https://askubuntu.com/questions/7015...in-gnome-shell https://extensions.gnome.org/extensi...ft-hot-corner/ |

Well, I recommend whatever suits your workflow, but for me, I like xfce (with kwin).

I know this is an old post but it's the same issue I'm having and the suggested fix (GNOME Tweaks) is longer available in Ubuntu 22.04/GNOME 42.2.
I don't find the Activities menu at all useful and it keeps popping open when I don't want it to (like when I click-drag to select a bunch of files and release the button with the cursor over the menu). The GNOME Tweak tool no longer has an option for hot corners and the Top Bar section only provides options for date and time settings. Is there any way to get rid of this menu in Ubuntu 22.04/GNOME 42.2? UPDATE Based on some of the references above, I tried running the command but it didn't solve my problem: Quote:
