How can I set DSL to start up in a lower resolution?

I'm using a really old computer (Intel 486) with an old graphics card (Trident ISA). Damn Small Linux is installed on my hard drive. When I start my computer up all the colors and stuff look very strange. I think my graphics card needs DSL running in a lower resolution. So how can I change my resolution (to 640x480 for example) and colors (16 bit)?

This is only for booting from CD or USB, isn't it? I want to change my default resolution.

Reset screen resolution with xsetup.sh

If you are using fluxbox desktop you could rigth click desktop menu and select setup Xvesa to change screen resolution or you could open
terminal console and issue the command xsetup.sh bon chance,
