Safe to download ISO from mirrrors?

How do I know its safe to download from those mirror sites at this link? http://dragora.org/repo.fsl/wiki?name=Mirrors

Is the IRC active and is their good support if I need help? Do I need to download anything below those mirrors like it says this on that link I supplied above:
Cross compilers, binary packages and sources [RSYNC/HTTP(s)]
http://dragora.org/repo.fsl/wiki?name=Mirrors

Do I click the ISO and then select something from the line above too?

you will always find md5sum and/or sha256sum (or similar) files to check your download.

Yes it is safe to download, and yes the IRC is pretty active and people are helpful, in fact it is easier to sane your doubts there than here in this forum.
