RHCA Cloud Self Study
Hi,
does anyone tried/know whether it is possible to go for RHCA Cloud, doing self study? I suppose it will need to have the right software and documentation, right? Let me know your ideas. Thanks! |
-MY- ideas? 'DoE': Depending on EXPERIENCE. What is your [RHCE &beyond] -experience-?
Do you have the computer resources [work/home] to practice exam objectives? IF you have already demonstrated the effort and ability, then 'maybe' else 'NO!' The goal is to -perform- (with excellence), not to get pay which one doesn't deserve :( Have you chosen 5 of the 10 exams here? Two search ideas (which will also demonstrate one's 'viability'!): web-research of your keywords, and read thru this LQforum (esp. replys by LQgurus!) Best wishes. Let us know... |
I find it useful to grab exam study-guides (at the used book store ...) and to browse through them to see what topics they talk about. For instance, if I knew that I was going to be encountering a cloud-based system built on Red Hat, this would be a good way for me to familiarize myself with the technology and perhaps to encounter references to tools and techniques that I might otherwise not have "stumbled upon." Up to a point, it really doesn't matter which OS-version it's referring to, as long as it's a fairly recent one. A guide that's written for a different Linux flavor is sometimes still useful.
Self-study is something that I do all the time. But otherwise I have no use for "certifications." |
Thank you for the help, I will close this topic.
