HP 470 g9 Debian external monitor dont works

I want to use my external monitor on my HP 470 g9 (sorry for mistake) with newest Debian and proprietary NVIDIA drivers installed. I can't use it because my software can't recognize my HDMI correctly.

Since you don't tell us what kind of nVidia card, version of nVidia drivers, desktop environment you're using, on what kind of laptop, we can't be much help. Provide details and we can try to assist.

XFCE isn't much better, and still fairly lightweight and harder to configure; Gnome or KDE would be far easier. And you were asked if you had the monitor plugged in and powered up before you booted the computer, but didn't answer. What's the output of "lshw" (or "hwinfo") and "inxi -Fxz"?? Post the relevant parts in CODE tags here. What have you actually done to try to get the monitor to work, besides run xrandr?

You aren't using the nVidia driver...you're using nouveau, as it says in the bolded section. Also, you didn't mention that you had two graphics devices (both Intel and nVidia) previously. Have you installed nvidia-detect, and the non-free repositories???

Ok....so you're now using the nVidia drivers. Has anything changed?? New desktop environment?? Have you run xrandr to see what's going on, or done anything to actually enable the monitor??? Having to ask for each detail over and over isn't pleasant. If you're still on xfce, have you installed/tried to run the xfce display settings program??

Yes, I tried and can't see other monitor. On nvidia-settings I can't set other monitor too...
I also tried GNOME and KDE. No difference, but on Wayland xrandr and inxi -G are different

Right, we understand what you need, but you're not giving much information without having to be repeatedly asked. You were asked about lshw, then post you didn't run it...so why ask for help if you're not going to do things that are suggested???

You're bouncing back and forth between X11 and Wayland...better if you pick one and stick with it. Have you checked the X server logs??? Did you read either of the links that were looked up for you???
