The choice between LQ Addict and Guru keeps getting reset
Since I've made 5000 posts, I have the option of being a Guru or an LQ Addict, and I've been selecting the latter in my profile (and yes, I have been saving the choice). However, after letting me be an LQ Addict for a day or so, it keeps resetting itself and making me a Guru.
As far as I can tell, it seems to be random. If I set it to LQ Addict, sometimes it is still set when I come back, and other times it is back to Guru. However, I don't think that LQ Addict has survived longer than a day. I don't log in and out of the site, I just tend to move on when I'm done here.
I'm happy to try any experiments you can think of, but honestly, I'm not seeing any pattern to what is happening.
OK, it just happened again. I've visted LQ a couple of times today and still been an LQ Addict. In fact in this session I started out as an LQ Addict. However, when I made this post in Syndicated News, I got reset to Guru. That was the first post in this particular session but I made at least one other earlier in the day and it hadn't reset.
