/dev/video1 and /dev/video1 is missing
 
I am using Asus VivoBook 14 and camera is not working /dev/video0 and /dev/video1 is missing how to get it back i have no hardware problems

Is this a builtin webcam on a laptop? Is it an external camera? What brand/model? What software are you using with the camera? Did it ever work? Do you not see output with ls /dev/video*? Did you ever?

Yes it has inbuilt camera, it is working in windows properly but when i boot it some time cheese and other camera application working or some time not and file got missing ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. VivoBook_ASUSLaptop X421UAY_KM413UA

Your post isn't clear. Do you mean sometime the camera works in cheese and sometimes not?
What does 'file is missing' mean? Do you get a message like that when you try to use video? How are you doing this? What type of video? Do you have this problem with any type video? Did the video ever work on your Linux? When you open a terminal and run the command below do you get any output?
