VLC Player does not start, interface error


Clicking the VLC entry in the start menu does "nothing."
Only the taskbar flashes for half a second as if the program opens and then instantly closes.

Result of entering "vlc" into terminal is attached.

4Mlinux v4.1.1.13-smp

Did it run before or is this the first try? Because you could reset the settings... I think you delete a folder somewhere.

first run, just after installation.
I did vlc --reset-config in attempt to reset config but it did not change anything.

Hi,

You are running prehistorical 4MLinux version, which is not supported anymore. Just make a fresh install, and keep your system up-to-date by running the "zk update" command at least once per 3 months. Your 4MLinux will be fully operational for years (without the need to reinstall it).
