Going crazy trying to figure this out. I can't seem to get Arch(0.5) to recognize my ISA Ethernet card. It is an ISA generic card. Can't seem to locate modules for PnPISA or even an generic ISA Ethernet module on the Arch install CD. In Debian there was a PnPISA module and a ne.o module that I used to get my Ethernet card working. Can't seem to locate neither one on even an equivalent on the CD. Tried using the ne.o module from Deb out of desperation and it wouldn't load. Any help or advice would be appreciated thx in advance.

I guess the simplest thing I need to know is how can I get my ISA ethernet card to work in Arch? I require an "ISA-PNP" module and a "ne" module or is there another way.

Do you not have a ........./drivers/pnp directory containing several isa-pnp modules?
If you cannot find the modules you need, why not follow the "compile your own kernel" option and select the appropriate support there? It's pretty straightforward.

No there is no such directory. But I found out on my own the drivers were in the kernel but not activated so I compiled the drivers necessary already(this morning) so I have my net connection in arch all setup.
