Persistent USB Install- Bodhi Linux 5.0.0 legacy

I have a laptop- Lenovo G480- 2GB RAM, Pentium Processor 2.1 Ghz. I was thinking to make a persistent usb intall of Bodhi Linux 5.0.0 legacy. Is it possible? If it is, then please explain the procedure for it.

Bodhi is one of the many derivatives of Ubuntu so you should be able to download from your repositories the 'mkusb' software. It's use is explained at the site at the link below. Check it out and see if that will work for you. You should be able to use software such as unetbootin also to create a persistent usb.

Friends it won't work in x64 if you have the ARM/APU ucode bug #1789353 because the GBB-flags are forced making the USB-ports unusable in debian. The best solution is to downgrade to Bodhi_x32 ver2.18.3

I'm not sure about how to make persistant USB, never tried. But I just wanted to comment, I think it'd be better to use a little hard drive space instead of using such an old version of Bodhi... unless the drive that laptop came with is dead, you should be able to spare 10GB or so for Linux...

Hello,

I'm facing an issue where bodhi 5.1 64bit, live USB with persistent partition(Rufus) fails to load the GUI DESKTOP.

everything works without persistent partition,
But I really need persistence between reboots,

I've read that this maybe an issue with Casper.

Any link I can go to for resolution
