Hi
how should i speed up the vnc server on centos7 i am using CentOS 7.4.1708 x64.i am viewing it on Windows 10 is, also is ther any setting to be changed on the client.
you gave almost no information about your setup, so hard to say anything. Probably you need more RAM, but probably a better network. It depends on a lot of things... http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-ques...html#beprecise
its a offshore vps ,2cps 3 gb ram i am running centos 7 ,i was wondering if i could change some settings in the server through terminal to mitigate any unwanted option so that i can speed up the vnc.
There are a number of reasons that your VNC service is running slow. On the server you could not have enough CPU cycles, low RAM and running off of swap, slow network connection. On your local machine you could have a virus, slow LAN network (wifi speed or ethernet), your ISP could be throttling your internet connection, etcetera etcetera...
