Booting from HD

OK I know the whole point of this was to boot from a CD, but since this runs so well I want to be able to put it on my hd and use it as i would RH. Mostly so that I can use an MP3 CD with xmms, and possibly set up an older box as a multimedia server.

Now I know there were directions on the disk for how to do it, but does anyone have an easier way.

I basically also need to know an easy way to non destructively add another linux partition to my hd so that I can put knoppix on that, unless i can just use my existing one.

I have to check but i think im using lilo, so how would i change that to have a dsl option in it?
Thanks, I know I'm a bit new, but I learn fast

OK new question but along the same guidelines, I want to put dsl onto a second hard drive, do you know of a way to configure lilo so it shows up in my lilo menu?
