Broken packages after reinstalling lenny + pure:dyne repos
So yeah, I reinstalled lenny, first time I've carried my /home directory over from a previous installation. I've got some broken packages, or something...
I try to run "apt-get upgrade -f" and I get:
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/libgig6_3.2.1-3+cvs080916_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
and when I try "apt-get install -f", I get:
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libgig6_3.2.1-3+cvs080916_i386.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/libgig.so.6.3.0', which is also in package libgig
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/libgig6_3.2.1-3+cvs080916_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
how can I resolve this issue?
I'd really like to get this fixed so I can break my computer trying to install the rt kernel.
