fedora 9 network connectivity problems
I have installed Fedora 9 and when I went to add/remove programs, selected the app's and then clicked on apply and when it attempted to go out to the internet it said "no network connection". The interesting is that I can open firefox and get out to the internet! I went to the network control center and made sure the nic card is active (it is).
The network connection icon at the right top corner of my screen says no connection so I'm at a loss as to what is causing the problem. HELP!!
