how to update flash-plugin for firefox 64bit 3.6

Hi,

Currently, I have a problem to run firefox 64bit 3.6 under fedora13 when I

watch youtube. It requires to update Adobe Flash Player. It seems that there is only 32bit library.

Please let me know how.

You are getting a message from youtube to upgrade to flash 10 or something?
Then either, the flash player is not installed or something is blocking javascript.

Get the rpm from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/.
Look this http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/systemreqs/。
No message about 32bit or 64bit.Try it。

It seems that it requires the latest release of flash 10.

It is not only for youtube but also for all displaying video.

Since firefox is building with 64bit and links with 64bit libraries,

the one which I download from website is a 32bit library.

Is there any way I can resolve the issue?

I have i386 flash package installed on (as far as I know) x86_64 Firefox 3.6.3 (I have both i386 and x86_64 versions of firefox installed) and everything is working, absolutely no problems. This is on CentOS 5.5 x86_64 with mharris's firefox package.

You have to use a pre-release if you want a 64 bit flash player. It's available here: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/l...6_64.so.tar.gz.

It's just one file so it's easy to extract the archive and copy it into place in the .....mozilla/plugins directory.

No that is not true there is a pre release of the 64 bits version

After downloaded and installed the library, it works.
