PcBasic and rcrpanel Fedora 36

Just finished upgrading to Fedora 36. Pleased with result but have two apps that I find have been taken out of the repository. PCbasic and rcrpanel. Both Of these Apps I have used extensive,y in the past and have a considerable amount of project files associated with each that I want to retain and get access to.
What is required to make a flatpak or snap package so I can install and run these apps under Fedora 36 so I can use the data I have accumulated.

Thanks

Putting "pcbasic fedora" into a search engine provides the download page for the latest version of PC-BASIC (released just two weeks ago), which directs you to an RPM. (If installing it doesn't work, then raise an issue.)

Doing the same with rcrpanel suggests it's unmainained, so I guess grab the latest version from whatever Fedora version still supports it and check the results of searching for "create flatpak from rpm" for instructions.

(Also maybe check whether Fedora project maintains a list of why packages are removed, in case there are reasons for their removal that you need to mitigate.)

Thanks, Sorry for delay in response.

PC-Basic
I downloaded the RPM package for indicated for Fedora https://robhagemans.github.io/pcbasic/download.html
On running the rpm package to install it the following errors were given as per the attachment.

On researching this the package site indicates that teh rpm package for Fedora and Centos was derived from the .deb package using alien. Further research suggested that the rpm package was trying to install directories already installed such as "/usr"
Using rpmrebuild I edited the spec2 file to remove the directories indicated in the attachment and generated a new rpm package.
This package installed with no errors.
On trying to open the package (clicking on the icon generated) nothing happened. No app related screen opened. Tried to run the pc-basic app via terminal and again no screen for the App opened.

I am not sure where to go from here. An ideas please.

I have not got around to looking at trying to make a snap for PC-basic or rcrpanel but I have downloaded the last Fedora build for rcrpanel in FC34 alome witht the source code. A snap for flatpack of PC-basic and rcrpanel would be great if I could find them
