Saving to persistent storage when running incognito in virtual machine

I noticed there appears to be some restriction, when running incognito in a virtual machine:

Quote:
2) If you are using a persistent home volume your changes will not be saved during this session but you will be able to access previously saved data.
could someone explain to me why this is so? is there some work around? this is a crucial feature - it is very important to be able to save data to my encrypted persistent storage.

It's due to a bug in QEMU, the virtual machine that ships with Incognito. You might get it to work with some other virtual machine like VirtualBox or VMWare.
