Let's say you are working on an install, how would YOU go about chrooting /mnt/sysimage? I want to make what you described here one of my drills for preparation.

I am preparing for the RHCE I am using the course materials and the references from the www.redhat.com website for securiy and administration and other manuals they are very useful, but the only problem is that I do not have any idea about the exam, can any body help me with some clues about the exam please.
My exam has been scheduled at 30/7 so I do not have a lot of time, if possible help me.

Now RHEL 4 is updated to RHEL 4 update2.so will they put exams on RHL4 u2..also will they ask for selinux policy and other things and PAM..?I also have doubt whether we need to prepare with Openldap centralised Auth system which unfortunately i cant find a solution.also which all MTA are we thorugh with..
will there any "troubles" created using commands like "chattrib" thus not able to edit any files etc..please help for preparation.Thank YOu ALL..wishing all RHCE/RHCT aspirants best of LUX..

also the imap service changed to be cyrus service in RHLE4

hey i guess it's still that stupid NIS & sendmail in RHEL4. In security section the thing is achieve the target question no matter what the heck you use iptables or tcpwrappers or PAM.....

In addition to the Michael Jang Series of books.


I think the "Linux Quick Fix Notebook" by Peter Harrison is also very helpful. The book chapters are also available online http://www.linuxhomenetworking.com/
