Also always make a bakcup of the config files for safety if u screw up.
While installation don't forget to install the mailserver package as it is not installed by default. I lost precious time locating the package from the main server and installing it later.
Also configure Software RAID Pre installation when u create partitions otherwise u will waste lot of time doing it later in command line mode.
Let's say you are working on an install, how would YOU go about chrooting /mnt/sysimage? I want to make what you described here one of my drills for preparation.
I am preparing for the RHCE I am using the course materials and the references from the www.redhat.com website for securiy and administration and other manuals they are very useful, but the only problem is that I do not have any idea about the exam, can any body help me with some clues about the exam please.
My exam has been scheduled at 30/7 so I do not have a lot of time, if possible help me.

hey i guess it's still that stupid NIS & sendmail in RHEL4. In security section the thing is achieve the target question no matter what the heck you use iptables or tcpwrappers or PAM.....
I think the "Linux Quick Fix Notebook" by Peter Harrison is also very helpful. The book chapters are also available online http://www.linuxhomenetworking.com/
