is this coarse good

hi guys
i am rajiv here i am an embedded engg working in telecom domain and i am interested in learning programming in linux so,
i am going to join this coarse offered by linux learning centre near my house in bangalore (india).
so i needed some linux techess to look at the coarse structure and guide me whether the coarse is worth taking up.
