Hi all,
I just enrolled as a member of linuxquestions. Interesting to see hundreds of 1000s of users! Hi to you all from a fellow techie
I am thinking of taking LPIC exam level 1 sometime in the future. I have been programming with databases and had used Unix as a programmer, not as an administrator. Familiar with vi, find, ls, df -k, ...
I was able to pass DBA certification exam with Exam Cram. It was very useful. Shall I take it that the following book alone will be enough?
"LPIC I Exam Cram 2 : Linux Professional Institute Certification Exams 101 and 102 (Exam Cram 2) by Ross Brunson"
I also have Linux installed at home. Do you suggest any more sites along with the Exam Cram book? I prefer to read just one or two resources than reading many of them.
(Reading too many books did not help with my DBA cert. Exam cram for DBA covered everything in detail and was one stop resource for reading and revising before the exam)
Thanks in advance for all your help.
Rocky.
