Might help to say where you're stuck, can't magically just know what you're doing.

As an aside, which linux cert?

And Sensitive, not sensative, FYI.

Welcome to LQ!

You have been showing us your needs but fail to show us your deeds!

Per the LQ Rules, please do not post homework assignments verbatim. We're happy to assist if you have specific questions or have hit a stumbling point, however. Let us know what you've already tried and what references you have used (including class notes, books, and Google searches) and we'll do our best to help. Also, keep in mind that your instructor might also be an LQ member.
You are studying for a cert but continue to post homework style questions to LQ. This is not studying but phishing for assistance. So far all you have done here at LQ is violate LQ Rules by the continue duplicate posting of homework questions. In the future please consider before posting duplicates which violates the rules. If you do have a problem then attempt by you will be a good weight if a fellow LQ member will assist. Show us what you have done and maybe someone will try to aid. Two good links to help you when posting here;

To redirect output of command to file in this case of 'w' is:

Code:
w > filename

"Okay, so you're 'stuck?'" So what? Sounds like you might be learning!

Here's the deal: "David-I" of Borland fame once referred to this as "taking a sip from a firehose." That's what it feels like. That's always what it feels like. And... that's what it's supposed to feel like, until it doesn't feel like that anymore.

If you ask someone else to answer your questions for you, you're not learning. You're only asking questions of other people who have learned. And, if that does not suit you, then perhaps you should (seriously!) consider another line of work. Not everyone is good at this sort of thing. Not everyone, who initially thought that they'd love doing it, actually wants to do it at all.

(I'm basically one of those people!) "I Don't Do Hardware." I do software. I specify how the hardware configuration is to be set up, and it's your contractual obligation to provide it and to maintain it so that my software installation can run properly. Furthermore, you install my software to my specifications, including reinstalling it if you're a dumb-muffin who lets your server get hacked. The software will do exactly what it was contractually specified to do, when run in the also contractually-specified environment. But, I don't attempt to simultaneously deal with both sides of the equation. I specialize in one side, and rely on others who specialize on the opposite side.
