Automatic right clicking, help me fix this

I'm having right click actions occur on its own. Context menus keep appearing for no reason.

I'm on Lubuntu LXQT.

Are you using a mouse, or a pad? I had that problem and discovered I was allowing the edge of my hand slightly brush the lower right button at the bottom of my pad. (I am ashamed to tell you how many weeks it took for me to notice why it was happening!)

I'm checking to see if this is a problem with the mouse itself; I will close this thread if I don't get right clicks automatically with my other mouse.

I'm marking this thread as solved as changing out the mouse seems to work.

WONDERFUL! It is always a treat when the problem is related to hardware that is cheap and easy to swap out!
Congratulations!
