Use libreOffice to create a form.
Hi.
I want to make a (form) that is reusable with a table in it.
So I would need parts that are not editable by the user but they can make entries with text.
It would basically look like this.
Date
Title of document
info |info |info| info |info |info
_____________________________________________
info | info|info|info |info |info
and so on in a real table form.
LO supports not one but two types of forms - plain and XForms, both are pretty well documented in its built-in help. Why don't you open it and search for 'forms'?

I'm not finding a direct solution to what should be common knowledge,in my opinion.
At work, management wants us to fill in a live editable document that's purpose is to make a form. Does not make any sense.I'm reading a LO doc but the context is too vague.
If you create a form properly and make it read only then only the "fillable" items can be changed. Once filled in you can print the form or save as. Same thing with a PDF form. A PDF form can be opened in a web browser as well as a pdf viewer if it matters.

I don't know what live editable means either.
The Excel document I have to fill out at work, has nothing fixed or permanent.
If you want to change the table , questions or anything you can.
If you drag the courser it alters the document.

I got the wizard to appear. I'm going through the LO guide to make a form.
A lot of the stuff is not explained. If you want to enter text you have to toggle off of 'design mode'.
I would assume that the creator would make the entire page and then lock or allow certain parts. That is not the case though. It has to be done as you go.
