Your Intel Wireless card/chip may need the firmware installed, if it isn't already.
The latest one I have is from Feburary 2023...
iwlwifi > firmware-iwlwifi
On a Devuan 5 (daedalus) system,
the "non-free-firmware" needs to be un-commented or added to one of the lines in /etc/apt/sources.list
for example...
Code:
deb http://deb.devuan.org/merged/ daedalus main contrib non-free non-free-firmware
a change was made up-stream about the "non-free-firmware" package repository, and where it is placed in the sources list.
Devuan 4 (chimaera) the non-free firmware was imbedded with the other packages, now non-free is separate.
I think it is so people don't install non-free software by mistake, foss.

I hope this helps.
Thank you. These repositories are already present in /etc/apt/sources.list and were used during distribution upgrade to Daedalus.
