Intel Pentium 90MHZ
16MB EDO RAM
~850MB HDD
4x CD-ROM(no option to boot from BIOS, but I can move the hard drive to another pc that can.)
S3 Trio64V+ w/ 1MB RAM in PCI
Creative Soundblaster 16-bit/22khz in ISA
Now becuase I have an old old pc, I assume an old old distro with no no gui. Have any recommendations?
wow OLD OLD. i dont think any recent linux versions will work well with that. It might make sense to use an older version of a compact distro. See if you can find an old version of vector linux or slackware. Both of those work well on older computers and if you find an older version it should work. Try searching their sites for archives
probebly i'm saying probebly not will
the old version of DSL(Dman Small Linux) will work
in some mode... =)
(my ipod is about that computer...)
so just go to distrowatch and search some Minimalist distros!
hope it helps =]
