Q reg. word documents!!


I am using a FC3 box.I would like to know which software I use for writing my word documents so that I can open that document in the proper format from Microsoft word too??

I tried using oo-writer but it dosent work.I can open a MS-word written doc in it...but not the otherway round!!

Hi,

What do you mean with "the other way around"? I don't have Ms Office to check, but my oowriter claims being able to write in Word 6.0, 95 and 97/2000/XP formats. Maybe something's wrong with your installation of OpenOffice?

Anyway, I think that koffice cannot export to .doc format, but maybe Abi Word can. Perhaps you can take a look at Abi.
