I just got a new keyboard a couple of days ago, a "Logitech Internet Navigator" with lots of more or less useful "special keys".

The F keys (F1-F12) can also be triggered "on" and "off" with one of these special keys. While they are "on", they act like normal F keys, and while they are "off", I can launch special commands with them. Yippee.

Some of these F keys have typical "Undo", "Redo", "Save" and "Print" symbols on them. My question is, how could I assign, for example, the keyboard shortcut "CTRL+P" to the Print key, or "CTRL+Z" to the Undo key? LinEAK does only allow me to assign commands to a key, but not to assign key shortcuts to a key.

Is there any other program or shell command that can do this for me?

A simple "No" as response would still be better than no response at all.

I just want that the key with the "Save" symbol acts like the key shortcut "Ctrl+S", for example.

And the key with the "Undo" Symbol should act like "Ctrl+Z", etc...

If you're using KDE then you can select your keyboard layout in the KDE control centre (kcontrol). Then you can go to the "Keyboard Shortcuts" module and see if you can assign those keys to the action you want.

Nope, XFce4. I already tried setting it up with KDE 3.2, though. And it even works, but only with KDE applications. :-/

And my most-used apps are non-KDE apps.
