<<Thanks for your response, I have done as advised -checking the cables & connectors and tried checking the disk using ms-win chdsk but was unable to do so - as Disk-2 does not show any drive letters -to identify.
(pls note Disk-2 is refer to as Disk-1 in the screen shot)

Does it mean my drive-1 Basic mbr is unrecoverable?
What must I as I do, to recover my data in it.
