Keyboard events interrupting mouse events.

Hi there,

I have a really annoyoing problem in that I can't use my keyboard and mouse simultaneously(sp?). I.E. my mouse stops working when I press a key on my keyboard.

I have a wirelss k/b and mouse but they are connected to the machine via 1 PS/2 (for k/b) and one USB (for mouse).

Any ideas? I really want to play Vice City through wine and this the only thing stopping me!!

thanks,

m

IRQ settings?

All I can think of is interrupts - IRQ conflicts. Though that hasn't happened for me in years...

what does cat /proc/interrupts show?

For others who may have the same problem:

I discovered I had mouseemu installed! I killed that process, now it works.
