knoppix 3.9 would not recognize usb keyboard
hi. i had to use knoppix to do some matience (needed the harddrive to not be mounted) and i couldn't type with my usb keyboard. One of the things i know is a strongpoint of knoppix is hardward detection so i found it odd that i couldn't use my keyboard. I had a ps/2 keyboard i could use to get it done but the problem is it is to my sister's system that she will be taking back to school in a few days. Does anyone know the deal with usb keyboards and linux? (this isn't the first time this keyboard has given me headaches) thanks for any replies in advance.
