Steps to add second NIC to RH

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone can give me the quickest way to add a second NIC in RedHat. I have been trying to find something to google it, but did not find a very discriptive way. Here is what I have got so far:

Run Modprobe:
Add modules for second NIC

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts
add script for eth1

run:

service network restart

Is there anything I am missing???

A better way??

Thanks in advance

that looks to be about the right method to do it. I would make the appropriate modules alias for eth1 so the modules are autoloaded, but that's about it.
