Does a context switch flush the L1 data cache in kernel 2.6.38.6 ?

Hi. I'm interested to know, is the L1 data cache always flushed along with the TLB when a context switch occurs in Linux 2.6.38.6? The answer to this is essential to the design of some work that I am doing investigating cache contention between programs that are scheduled on the same CPU core, but despite much searching, I cannot find a straight answer. Any expert knowledge on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

That answer, of course, will be platform dependent. Look in the /arch directory for your chosen platform and see what the code does.
