I tried to re-install but it was always going onto emergency mode. I returned the computer back to the store. HAHAHA
I dont feel guilty at all. Acer gave me so much trouble by imputing security certificates in their bios settings. Certificates from windows obviously. After I had the problem with the wifi card and then this problem here. So if Acer dont want to sell computer that are compatible with any type of os they can take their money back.

Thank you all. I will stick around this site trying to get knowledge on how to blast the bios password off my small laptop.

Hi...

If you're interested, there are companies that sell systems with Linux preinstalled. If you're in the United States, here are three such OEM's...

I like this one: https://minifree.org/product/libreboot-x200/
tho a bit pricey compared to a refurbished or used something I'd put GNU\Linux on.

The one I'm on now a T420 was fully upgraded (except i5 not i7 (I won't bother tho I did put an SSD,)) dropped and refurbished with m$7 and I paid the same for the fastest SSD I could get ($250.)

The longer you shop around and the better the buy.
