Cant access the Internet

I just installed RHL 7.3 on an older machine (PII) and I cant seem to get it on the Internet (which is important since it will be a server). This is how my network is set up: Cable modem to a Netgear RP614 router, and then the router to the RHL box. I also have a XP Pro machine on that router, and it can access the Internet just fine. On the start up, it got a 'failed' for "bringing up eth0 device". So my question is, how would I configure it to be able to access the Internet?

I would just like to replay saying that my router has a light on saying that there is something connected.

It is looking like it is a DNS problem, I can connect to sites through their IP address...

okay, nevermind, it is working,

but I dont know how it started to work...
