compare "Red Hat Enterprise Linux" and "Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS"


Hello all,

I'm new to Linux, I'm confusing versions of Red Hat Linux.
Could you please let me know what is the difference between Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS means Pensacola (AS) and it is based on RHL 7.2 not from Fedora.

Install a windows-like Gnu/Linux, try Mint, Suse, Debian, Ubuntu, whatever reduces your googling needs.

Is there a reason you can't look on Red Hat's website yourself, and read the release notes???
