Difficulty posting a reply.

What does this:
Your submission could not be processed because the token has expired.

Please reload the window.
mean?
Does reload the window mean start a new thread?
This comes up in what should be an active thread.

It means that you took too long to compose your answer or left it for too long before you posted it. If you reload the window without copying your post to the clipboard, you'll lose it. The new window will still be in the same thread but it will be blank.

Sometimes reload (as in F5) doesn't fix this - on occasion I've had to go back then reselect the post. PITA.

I know some people who, when they want to make a really big post, create it in a text editor and then paste it into the window and send immediately.

Thank you for that.
I did take a long time to do a looong post the first time copying and pasting dmesg excerpts but then tried again a few times more and being quick about it but it still said the same thing.
It is a thread I need to continue.
