I just got an Asus Eeepc without is and a flash drive with Linux mint in uti was shows how to open Linux from the drive I was going to instal but she I got to the part asking if I want to erase disk or set encryption I realized the battery was about dead so I shut it down I turns the Asus on without the flash drive and plugged my phone in to chart it for a minute and now I get this error every time I turn it on

Hi & **WELCOME**! A couple of LQ'notes': you can click 'Edit' button, to 'fix' a post!
When you posted a reply to #1, it knocked it off of 'ZRT visibility'; that's another reason it got overlooked [sorry]

Is it an SD card or USB 'drive'? Were you trying to say that netbook has no hard-drive?
Did you have a BIOS setting in the eeePC (model? I have 1000HA!), to make it boot from SD?
Maybe that reverted to HD when you powered it off. Or maybe it's trying to boot from PHONE! as a USB drive...

Can you provide more details on "now I get this error every time I turn it on"?
Maybe you can post/upload an actual *picture* taken of the screen, to this Thread here!

Best wishes... Tell us more...

No it has almost 300 gb hdd not partishond yet.and it has rhe max ram it caj be upgraded with the guy I got it from wanted all the apps that were on it in the system on his new computer so he Linux Mint onto a flash drive so I could install that he showed me how to get to it and it worked just fine I sat down somewhere with Wi-Fi I started to go to the install Endicott menu where you can choose to wipe the disk clean partition the drive or the encryption and I noticed the battery was low so I stopped before I started the actual installation and then I went to the menu button and shut the computer down just like always but when I turned it back on I was trying to find out if a store is open it didn't have the flash drive in it and the power cord to my phone in 28 slot on the other side of the computer then when I turned it back on I started getting the error code after I plug the phone into it the screen stays black and I couldn't power it down store it just shut down when the battery died. And I push Escape and tell it to boot from USB and it starts load Linux in a couple seconds after it starts the BIOS thing comes up reset error code at the bottom. I have went into the boot settings and made sure it was loading off of that and it worked three times in a row so I know it can run off of this flash drive but I don't know what I did to screw it up
