MySQL Query Browser to launch and icon

Hello, I can't seem to get the MySQL Query Browswer to work by following the instructios in the PDF manual they provide on line. I thought all I had to do was to navigate to the directory where it's been unpacked and then do ./mysql-query-browser. BUt that doesn't work. Also, how does one set it up so that the little icon the provide and just clicked and the query browser is launched?

Thank you.

check your /usr/bin directory as this will hold most of the user software that you can run.
