Mozilla Takes Another Shot At Microsoft


Cnet News has an article up about a new Mozilla Project codnamed Lightining. It's aim is, using e-mail client, Thunderbird, and new calendering program, Sunbird, to create an open source alternative to Outlook.

This looks like it will be an interesting project to follow.

I think Mozilla automatically starts out with an advantage in the regard that they try to offer different versions of their software for different platforms. This allows me to run the same tools irregardless of what computer/environment I am running, and that is something I value, as I would imagine others do as well.

I like how the last question is just left hangin (referring to the Mozilla Q&A)...obviously exchange support is huge.
