Ubuntu Install Problems

To choose boot device, you have to press F12 (usually) at startup. Can you try this out and let us know if it works?

Then, if you're booting from the USB drive, you should get a menu with 'install ubuntu server' as first option.

It did take me 80 hours. But I think it is up and running. Thank you for your help. Now, how do I make it do stuff?
