Question PVR and WEBCAM

I'm trying to configure the following two video4linux devices onto my computer:

Intel YC76 Web Cam
Hauppauge WinTV model 880 PVR

I use the bttv driver for the PVR, however I cannot get sound with xawtv, any ideas?

When I plug in the WebCam and reboot, the camera takes over /dev/video0.

How can I set up my system, so each item is on a different device?

Also, I use drivers usbvideo and konicawc for my webcam, however I get a "v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway" error. The screen comes up, but it's segmented into four sections. I am displayed ( moving video ) in the top two boxes, in green. Any ideas?

I'd like to put my hauppauge PVR card on /dev/video1 vs /dev/video0 as I want my USB Web cam on /dev/video0.

Does anyone know what I need to put into modules.conf to make this happen?

I was told, that the necessary info may be found by doing a 'modinfo bttv'.

But I can't figure it out.

Thanks,

Robert Liguori

I am also having the green 2-box video problem with my YC76 camera. Have you found a solution to this problem?

I've tried the 'xawtv' and 'motion' packages, and both give me the same video results.
