I wonder if I can use my Canon EOS 20D with Linux some way?
I have no clue at all if that's possible and what faunctions may be working?
What I would like is to access the images to copy them to hd and ...
... to use the camera "remotely". For win there is a software which lets you click and clack to settings of the 20D on the monitor and press the trigger with the mouse .. and the image is not stored on CF, it is copied to PC. Don't think this will be poissible with Linux - is it?
Cornholio- I've got one on the way (UPS says it's in Oklahoma now...). Have you tried gphoto for converting raw images? Can you mount the camera like a usb drive? Just trying to prepare in advance for when it gets here. Thanks.

If you're still looking for 20D software, check out www.bibblelabs.com - they have native linux software that supports Canon RAW files, and tethered shooting...
