Mint 21.2 Integrity check query


I downloaded Linux mint 21.2 Victoria cinnamon.
I generated its sha256sum and compared it with the local iso file sha256sum.txt
The sums matched. So the download is successful.
I then installed 21.2 Victoria and did the Integrity check again. The generated sha256sum is now different to the local iso file sha256sum.txt
I have done this in the past with versions 18, 19 and 20 and the sums always matched after installation.
Has anybody come across this. Is this a fault.

According to the site at the link below, it could be due to the size of the drive you put Mint on. That is, if you are referring to the usb you wrote the iso to.
