Tomcat 5.5.1 and Apache 2

Hi,

Does anyone have an idiots guide to linking Tomcat 5.5.1 and Apache 2?

I have been trying to link the two for several weeks now and have tried lots of different guides but so far I have had no luck. Most of the guides refer to previous versions of Tomcat and Apache so my feeling is that the process my be different (albeit subtly) in the new version.

Both Tomcat and Apache run fine on their own using ports 8080 and 80 respectively. I am using SuSe Linux version 8.0.

TIA - Keith

Keith,

I havn't tried it for Tomcat 5.5, but Apache2 and Tomcat 5.025 are working together.
Have you ever tried it before with different versions and it worked, or is it the first time?
