Unhappy LinuxMint 18 Host with LinuxMint 18 Guest in VirtualBox 5.1 Error

All,

So I been working to try to fix this for a week now, but looks like I will need some help.

Problem: Running (Ubuntu/Mint, KDE/Xfce/Mate/Cinnamon) as a Host and anyone of them as a Guest, youtube freeze in Virtualbox.

I was running LinuxMint 17.1 as a Host and Guest with everything running ok. But then I installed LM18 and Host and Guest and youtube videos work in Host but NOT in Guest.

I then switched back to LM17.1 and same result. I even use and ISO backup I had and the video worked in the VM but 5min later start freezing again. The video will never freeze in the HOST only the Guest.

I tried uninstalling FLASH, running Updates, NOT running updates, nothing would seem to fix this problem.

Everytime I reinstalled the system I formated the drive..ran SpinRite 6.0..Nothing

I personally think it is something wrong with a file in the "update" but do not know how to check for this.

Currently running: LM17.3 Mate (Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty), VM5.1_5.1.6, HP EliteBook 8460p/16G RAM/ 180GB SSD.

Has anyone experience anything like this? Thanks.

Guest Additions installed?

No one is going to troubleshoot 8 desktops > "Ubuntu/Mint, KDE/Xfce/Mate/Cinnamon)"
16 if x86_64 is involved.
Pick one.
Cinnamon is the heaviest.
Xfce the lightest.

Browser Versions of the 666 possible combos of Ubuntu/Mint, KDE/Xfce/Mate/Cinnamon) + "Firefox"?
You can quickly see how ineffective your post is. Sorry, nothing personal.
Need quite a bit more detail.
See http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html for assistance with that.

Thank you!

I was not trying to get all distros working, I was just stating that I tried several with the same result. I prefer LM18

" youtube freeze in Virtualbox"

Might have to look at both host and client system monitor, look at network connections, consider changing bridged to nat or reverse. Consider looking at ram and swap use.

FIXED.

In Virtualbox, I had to set the Chipset to ICH9, 3D Off, Audio Controller: Intel HD Audio.
Youtube Video/Audio now plays in Virtualbox using LinuxMint 18.
