I did a quick search on the forums since I became a contributing member and couldn't find an "expected timeframe" for the settings to take effect. I was curious because after paying it didn't give a "you have now been activated as a contributing member and can access the locked features" e-mail or anything.
Just wanted to get a post up to ask (and so other people know) what the expected time frame is after you contribute.

I also just contributed since I surf this website a lot. After I paid with my credit card, I got some error message, then it said it would retry. So I then clicked CONTINUE and it said order successful. Then it told me to click another button to let the site know that I paid. I clicked on it and nothing loaded but a blank white page. Does this mean my contribution never went through? How will you know that I contributed?
