Happy New Year
I'd like to wish each and every LQ member a happy new year. Thanks again for making LQ one of the best Open Source sites on the web. 2008 was another great year for us and I'm proud to say we have more in store for 2009. Stay tuned and may the new year bring you everything you ask for.
I understand that THIS will the year of Linux on the Desktop........
You know, I've heard this same thing since using Linux 10 plus years ago. So not to be all negative but I doubt it's gonna happen this year. And then again, what constitutes it being the year of Linux anyways? Perhaps when more than 50% of desktop users claim to be using Linux as their OS of choice I would imagine.
