Question startx at boot

Hello,

I had some problems with the hard disk, and have now replaced it

I reinstalled Manjaro (17.1.7. x86-64) and then updated.

When I boot up, I end up with the black screen. But when I type control, Alt, F2 and type startx at the terminal, I then get the desktop. I should be able to avoid this stage.

How can I startx automatically at boot?

Thanks

Have a peak at this
1. https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.php/I...splay_Managers
2. https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.php?t...RC_%26_SystemD

though I'd put a penny on it though, that your Login manager should have already been there after install. Maybe a little quirk that hopefully will not cause you any or too much trouble.

so Q. why did you have to type control, Alt, F2? whatever screen you where at you should have been able to log into your system (without switching tty's)
