Hi

I'm trying to generate a series of screen captures, and for that purpose am capturing png files using java, however, much to my suprise (which i should not have been in retrospect) there is no mouse pointer visible.

This software is to work on Linux, with either X.org or XFree86 (doesn't matter really)

I was wondering:

- is it possible to do that natively (so it works in any os), not that i have found any support for that notion as yet.
- is it possible to set something in the xorg.conf (or XF86Config) file that will make this work
- is there some non obstructive software that snaps itself a window or such to the mouse pointer, and shows up in a screen shot

Any input would be appreachiated.

xvidcap is not the answer for this task.
